Yes, this always happens to me. I've tried different browsers; I've tried to remove/reinstall Java -- all to no avail.   I use the same workaround: keep Word open and copy/paste into the chat box.

I'm having a strange problem today. I am unable to type in the chat window. My work around is that I can type in anything else (Word, Notepad, etc.) and then copy and paste the text into the chat box.

I just upgraded Java, so that may be the issue. Has anyone else had this happen?
