The Ask a Librarian team is happy to announce the selection of the new software platform for AaL. 

The Advisory Committee appointed a subcommittee to review various vendor products and go through a selection process with the Ask a Librarian staff at TBLC. After a diligent review, the subcommittee has selected Springshare's LibAnswers/LibChat to replace Oracle's Instant Service. 

We will begin the training for all participating libraries in January and plan to transition from Oracle to Springshare before May 2015. After the holidays, we will send out a detailed schedule of training activities for site coordinators and staff.
