As of October 1, 2014 the Ask a Librarian Virtual Reference Coordinator position ended and Traci Avet is no longer working for Ask a Librarian.  The other members of the Ask a Librarian team will be working to assume the responsibilities of the position and are prepared to assist staff in our participating libraries with any issues related to Ask a Librarian.  The Ask a Librarian team consists of Doug Furiato, our web developer, Matt Smith, for technical support and hardware maintenance, Beth Farmer for overall grant administration and myself, Jessica Riggins, for outreach and day-to-day project management.  

Beginning now, we want to route all support requests through our help desk platform. This includes all password resets, technical support, java, web-based, knowledge base and training concerns.   Using the help desk will make it easier for us to manage your support requests and will enable you to track the status of your requests.  To use the help desk, go tohttp://www.askalibrarian.org/helpdesk/.
